In order to get the most of your spray tan and help prolong the life of your sunkissed glow, the following preparation tips should be adhered to.Do exfoliate and moisturise the night before, not on the day.As the DHA tanning solution only reacts with the outer layer of the skin, exfoliating the day before will clear away the dead cells and prolong the life of your spray tan.Do wear loose, dark clothing after application.Our tanning solution is quick drying and water based so will wash out of clothing easily but, as with most spray technicians, we recommend wearing loose, dark clothing after application.Don?t wear soft contact lenses, take them out before your session.As the spray tan solution contains a bronzer colour guide, we advise that soft lenses are removed to prevent discoloration.Don?t tint eyelashes or eyebrows just before your session.Eye make up will act as a barrier cream and prevent the solution from interacting with the skin. You`ll end up with white eyelids!Don`t wear moisturiser on the day of your spray tan and shower to remove deodorant, perfume make up etc on the day as these can sometimes cause discoloration.Don`t shave just before or just after your spray tan has been applied.Skin cells are removed during shaving, but not in an even fashion. We recommend you shave the day before/day after your application.Don`t book within the first three months of pregnancy.Although the tanning solution doesn`t penetrate past the first layer of the skin and is hypoallergenic, we recommend avoiding booking during the first three months of pregnancy as a precaution.If you are asthmatic or diabetic, or have any health issues which concern you, please inform us.
